Throughout his career, Dungey achieved numerous victories and championships. He competed in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross and the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship series. Dungey won multiple championships in both disciplines, including four AMA Supercross championships and three AMA Pro Motocross championships.

Dungey retired from professional racing in 2017, leaving behind a legacy as one of the greatest riders in the history of the sport. Since retiring, he has remained involved in the motocross community, often working as a mentor and coach for younger riders.
